Program Description: 

Abstract:
The faculty of the MCW Division of Biostatistics present a yearly statistical lecture series targeted at basic and clinical investigators. The series provides an introduction to statistical techniques and concepts used in medical research; a wide range of topics are included. Lectures are on Fridays throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.

ACCME Accreditation Statement: The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians.           

AMA Credit Designation Statement: The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Hours of Participation:

This program is designed for physicians, residents, fellows, graduate students, MCW faculty and staff.

Overall: To provide clinicians and researchers with tools to understand statistical methodology used in published papers and help them effectively communicate with statisticians about research projects.
