Cardiovascular Grand Rounds is the primary teaching conference for the Division of Cardiology where both cardiovascular disease syndromes and current research in cardiovascular disease is presented. Cardiovascular Grand Rounds meets a specific need both in the community and at the Medical College for further education in cardiovascular disease states. Cardiovascular Grand Rounds as a recurring activity is continually reviewed by the cardiology faculty.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Recall that overweight and obesity are major risk factors for cardio-kidney-metabolic syndrome.
- Identify that GLP-1RAs may be transformative therapies, but only if we can address access, affordability, and adherence.
- Explain that substantial return on investment will come from interventions that focus on prevention of obesity and CVD.
- Recognize that cardiovascular clinicians should lead the management of cardio-kidney-metabolic syndrome.
