Program Description:
Cardiovascular Grand Rounds is the primary teaching conference for the Division of Cardiology where both cardiovascular disease syndromes and current research in cardiovascular disease is presented. Cardiovascular Grand Rounds meets a specific need both in the community and at the Medical College for further education in cardiovascular disease states. Cardiovascular Grand Rounds as a recurring activity is continually reviewed by the cardiology faculty.

Learning objectives:
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Apply current evidence-based guidelines in the evaluation and management of coronary artery disease and analyze how population-derived recommendations should be individualized for complex patients discussed in Morbidity & Mortality cases.
- Identify system-level and clinical barriers to implementing best practices in coronary artery disease care and develop strategies to reduce complications and improve outcomes.
- Evaluate cost-effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in coronary artery disease management to optimize value-based care without compromising patient safety.
- Assess emerging research and novel therapies in coronary artery disease and determine their appropriate incorporation into clinical practice.
This M&M session will focus on coronary artery disease.
