Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe the criteria for prediabetes diagnosis
- Understand prediabetes is a risk factor for developing Type 2 diabetes (T2DM).
- Understand the prevalence of prediabetes in the United States.
- Understand the association between social determinants of health and prediabetes.
- Apply the intervention strategies to target amelioration of social risks on T2DM prevention outcomes.
