Program Description: 

This educational activity is designed to improve knowledge about research methodologies and techniques for improving patient care and health outcomes. CAPS seminars are also designed to foster collaborations and give researchers a chance to present/obtain feedback regarding health services research.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to answer the following questions:

  • To discuss the burden of diabetes and CKD
  • To identify social determinants of health, social risk factors and the impact of multidimensional adversity on health outcomes
  • To discuss strategies to address multidimensional adversity in adults with CKD and Diabetes
