Program Description: 

This educational activity is designed to improve knowledge about research methodologies and techniques for improving patient care and health outcomes. CAPS seminars are also designed to foster collaborations and give researchers a chance to present/obtain feedback regarding health services research.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to answer the following questions:

 

      • Describe disparities in access to joint replacement surgery and reasons for racial disparity in the utilization of JR.
      • Identify potential interventions to mitigate racial disparities in joint replacement use.
      • Describe disparities in post-knee and hip surgery rehab.
