This educational activity is designed to improve knowledge about research methodologies and techniques for improving patient care and health outcomes. CAPS seminars are also designed to foster collaborations and give researchers a chance to present/obtain feedback regarding health services research.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to answer the following questions:
- Acquire insights into the effects of community and network factors on health outcomes.
- Explore the role of social networks and influences on sexual risk, substance use behavior, and access to services within the Latinx community in the US Midwest.
- Recognize challenges and possible directions for research and intervention specific to this population in the context of the Midwest.
