Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:,

  • Discuss JDM disease manifestations and current understanding of mechanisms of pathogenesis
  • Review recent advances and gaps in knowledge regarding immune regulation of muscle regeneration
  • Provide background knowledge of gastrointestinal GVHD pathophysiology
  • Establish the role of type 3 innate lymphoid cells in intestinal immune homeostasis
  • Assess mechanisms and impact of the elimination of type 3 ILCs in GI GVHD
