Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
1. Understand the principles and benefits of family-centered care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including its impact on infant well-being and parental satisfaction.
2. Explore the efficacy and potential of Listening Visits (LV) as a nurse-delivered intervention for postpartum depression within the NICU context, with a focus on the results of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and qualitative analysis of recorded sessions.
3. Analyze a case study of a NICU mother who underwent Listening Visits, examining the practical application and outcomes of this intervention in supporting parental mental health and promoting trauma-informed compassionate care within the NICU setting.
