Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Increase knowledge and proficiency of the most common short acting reversible contraceptives used by adolescent females
- Articulate the method of a “quick start” contraceptive and understand how to reliably rule out pregnancy
- Increase their knowledge of contraindications to estrogen and awareness of the CDC Medical Eligibility Criteria resource
- Have increased understanding of the common side effects with short acting reversible contraceptives and strategies to manage
