Program Description: 

The educational series will incorporate evidence based guidelines and resources to address the identified educational gaps.  Those resources will be made available to participants for future use at the end of each education session.

  • Advanced Practice Providers
Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to: 

  • Solidify existing foundational infant nutrition guidance 
    • Z scores and interpretation
    • Formula and breast milk fortification resources
  • Understand the role of responsive feeding and pace feeding in supporting healthy growth
  • Learn strategies for counseling families on up-to-date guidance about complementary feeding, introduction of allergens and baby-led weaning (BLW)
