5th Annual Dermatology Topics in the Tropics

January 19, 2014 to January 26, 2014

Dermatology Topics in the Tropics 2014 features an esteemed faculty of academic and clinical dermatologists discussing up-to-date issues with both diagnostic and therapeutic implications in medical and surgical dermatology as well as the history of dermatology.  In a relaxed setting the faculty will present data pertinent to dermatologists in practice, academia and training.  In response to needs queries and a review of the literature of recurring treatment challenges, topics will include, in detail, recognition and terapies of psoriasis and eczemas, rosacea, acne and tropical dermatology; approaches to basic and advanced surgical techniques; surgery of melanoma; skin cancer surgery in organ transplant patients; and the history of treatments for psoriasis.  There will be an emphasis on open interaction between faculty and participants with discussions of challenging cases for the clinician.  Lectures are conducted only during the cruising days at sea.
