JUSTIN EALBA: Contrast enhanced ultrasound of the liver
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe the technique of liver contrast enhanced ultrasound.
- Explain the role of CEUS in evaluating hepatocellular carcinoma.
- Identify the CEUS appearance in other common liver lesions.
Jackson Bennett: Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen PET/CT imaging and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Identify the mechanisms of PSMA uptake in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) including neovasculature tumor expression.
- Define the clinical implications of PSMA PET/CT findings in HCC for diagnosis and potential therapeutic applications.
- Explain PSMA uptake in HCC from other hepatic lesions and common mimics on PET imaging.
