Program Description: 
Department of Medicine Grand Rounds is a weekly conference during the academic year to highlight updates and changes to best practices of internal medicine and medicine subspecialties. Attendees will learn updated medical knowledge and new programs to provide evidence-based practice and improve patient care.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Interpret routine primary care problems for which genomic testing appear to be useful and know how frequently such problems occur
  • Establish genomic tests that should be used in primary care
  • List three structural barriers to regular use of guideline recommended genomic tests in primary care practice
