Program Description: 

Department of Medicine Grand Rounds is a weekly conference during the academic year to highlight updates and changes to best practices of internal medicine and medicine subspecialties. Attendees will learn updated medical knowledge and new programs to provide evidence-based practice and improve patient care.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Describe the scientific origins of healthcare quality improvement science (QIS) and implementation science (IS)
  • Describe how quality improvement science and implementation science goals differ
  • Identify and use key QIS and IS tools and approaches to solve problems and improve care in clinical settings
