Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Improve ability to take thorough patient histories, including queries regarding social disorder
- Increase medical knowledge about how the social disorder can disproportionately affect the health of racial/ethnic minorities, including those with diabetes
- Enhance ability to participate in multi-disciplinary rounds/case management rounds because of greater awareness of community resources available to address the issue
