Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

  • Recognize an association between vasomotor symptoms and a higher BMI
  • Explain how weight gain at midlife is partially attributed to a reduction in energy expenditure
  • Describe menopausal hormone therapy is associated with a reduction in a central adiposity
