Program Description: 

Weekly conference during academic year to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Target audience: 
  • Physicians
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Physician Assistants
Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Recognize genetic variants that significantly affect drug metabolism.
  • Identify when to perform genetic testing to improve patient outcomes.
  • Consider approaches that leverage information systems to both enhance current practice and evaluate the impact of such enhancements.
