Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Identify the syndrome of acute liver failure and distinguish it from cirrhosis
- Review the prognostic signs in a patient with acute liver failure, in regards liver transplantation
- Review the management of patients with acute liver failure, including liver transplantation, extracorporeal liver assist devices, xenotransplantation, and auxiliary liver transplant
