Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

  • Review components of the Learning Healthcare System (LHS) and current status of most healthcare systems
  • Outline challenges in achieving LHS capabilities and strategies toward this goal adopted by the Veterans Health Administration
  • Share person-focused mentoring and training strategies that can build LHS capabilities
