Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Discuss the guidelines for risk stratification of cardiac patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery
  • Describe the role of diagnostic testing and Treatment strategy in the pre-op patient.
  • Enumerate the evidence supporting the recommendations.
  • Outline the newer approaches in the management of the pre-op patient with cardiac disease
