Presentation #1: Dysphagia in Parkinson’s Disease: Investigating Esophageal Abnormalities
- Improve medical knowledge of common GI symptoms in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
- Analyze the impact that dysphagia has on patient care in Parkinson’s Disease.
- Recognize causes of dysphagia in Parkinson’s Disease and current investigations aimed at improving patient care.
Presentation #2: Infectious and Non-infectious Pulmonary Complications in HCT Patients Treated with Post-Transplant Cyclophosphamide-based GVHD Prophylaxis.
- Identify the role of post-transplant cyclophosphamide in GVHD prophylaxis.
- Analyze the potential risk of pulmonary complications with PTCy-based GVHD prophylaxis.
- Apply results in risk/benefit conversations with patients when discussing PTCy-based GVHD prophylaxis.
Presentation #3: Unintentional Unblinding in Rheumatic in Disease Trials
- Describe the hierarchy of evidence in the practice of evidence-based medicine.
- Identify unintentional unblinding as a source of potential bias in randomized control trials.
