Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Evaluate the multisystem manifestations of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) and the role of multidisciplinary management in optimizing patient outcomes.
  • Assess clinical features associated with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, including chronic epistaxis, telangiectasias, and arteriovenous malformations, to facilitate timely diagnosis and management.
  • Analyze the impact of iron deficiency in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and apply appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging therapies for the management of bleeding in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
