Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based treatment strategies for bronchiectasis, including approaches to airway clearance, exacerbation prevention, and use of new therapeutic options.
  • Incorporate advanced treatment options and emerging therapies for nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) pulmonary disease into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.
  • Implement a multidisciplinary clinical care approach for the diagnosis and management of bronchiectasis and pulmonary NTM disease.
  • Evaluate the impact of AI on the physician–patient encounter across pre-visit, during-visit, and post-visit workflows, with attention to clinical decision-making, documentation, efficiency, and patient experience.
