Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

  • Apply criteria for determining decision-making capacity in clinical practice.
  • Implement processes for identifying surrogate decision-maker(s) for patients who lack decision-making capacity.
  • Analyze institutional futility and DNR-by-futility policies and their application in patient care.
