Program Description:
This course is designed for Emergency Medicine Faculty to enhance their Ultrasound skills.
Target audience:
Physicians
Learning objectives:
- Understand applications for common point-of-care ultrasound examinations
- Learn standard views and normal anatomy on standardized patients
- Acquire necessary psychomotor skills to obtain adequate POCUS images for common ED exams
- Identify an approach to use ultrasound in the critically ill and learn to recognize pathology
