Program Description: 
The goal of this conference is for endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, endocrine fellows, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, nurse practitioners, PhD researchers, residents, and students to have a venue to learn a variety of clinical and basic science topics as well as recent benchmarks in the field for the benefit of improving patient care and research on a vast array of topics in Endocrinology.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Describe the insulin pump landscape
  • Identify the features of the new iLet Bionic Pancreas and the Medtronic 780G automated insulin delivery (AID) Systems
  • Explain how to modify insulin pump settings based on individual systems and patient-specific factors to optimize glucose control
  • Evaluate AID cases in order to facilitate shared decision making when creating a diabetes management plan
