Endocrine Grand rounds is an educational conference based on clinical and basic sciences in Endocrinology at The Medical College of Wisconsin campus and occurs on the 1st Thursdays of each month. The goal of this conference is for endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, endocrine fellows, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, nurse practitioners, PhD researchers, residents, and students to have a venue to learn a variety of clinical and basic science topics as well as recent benchmarks in the field for the benefit of improving patient care and research on a vast array of topics in Endocrinology.

Students at all levels of training
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Discuss the risk of fractures in patients with renal failure.
- Briefly outline the spectrum of pathologies of bone disorders in CKD.
- Discuss the diagnosis of osteoporosis in patients with chronic kidney disease.
- Discuss the management of osteoporosis in CKD including limitations and off-label therapies.
