Program Description: 

Endocrine Grand rounds is an educational conference based on clinical and basic sciences in Endocrinology at The Medical College of Wisconsin campus and occurs on the 1st Thursdays of each month. The goal of this conference is for endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, endocrine fellows, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, nurse practitioners, PhD researchers, residents, and students to have a venue to learn a variety of clinical and basic science topics as well as recent benchmarks in the field for the benefit of improving patient care and research on a vast array of topics in Endocrinology.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Understand the value of accurate assessment of free serum testosterone concentration
  • Be able to use serum total and calculated free testosterone and gonadotropins to identify the most likely cause of male hypogonadism
