
Best Evidence ENT 2018
Best Evidence ENT 2018 will update practicing otolaryngologist and advanced practice providers on the latest evidence-based clinical care pathways and practice guidelines for patient assessment and treatment, and will also include a focused session on hearing loss and dizziness. New this year, attendees can submit individual cases for discussion and best evidence approaches to management.
A wine and cheese reception will be held on Saturday evening, August 11, in the Kohler Design Center - a spectacular showcase of innovative product design and technology, and a display of American history.
The Faculty of the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin is proud to present this 5th annual conference that will cover the entire scope of the specialty.

Target Audience
Best Evidence ENT 2018 is designed for practicing otolaryngologists. The focus of the event is to educate otolaryngologists on the importance of staying current with the latest best evidence findings. The entire scope of the specialty will be addressed.
Learning Objectives
- Become familiar with clinical practice guidelines including those related to rhinoplasty, sinusitis, hoarseness, BPPV, sudden hearing loss, and neck mass management.
- Describe new and updated management and intervention practices for nasal obstruction, sleep apnea, head and neck masses, sinonasal disease, and dizziness.
- Review patient outcomes based on peer reviewed research.
- Describe best evidence-based practices for diagnosis, assessment and treatment.
