Program Description: 

This 90-minute session will provide an introduction to the duties expected of an attending and of a new resident on an inpatient psychiatry service.  The format will be a panel discussion of current inpatient attendings with plenty of time for Q&A.

  1. Recognize the performance expectations of a psychiatric resident both at the beginning and the end of an inpatient psychiatry rotation
  2. Describe the documentation requirements for both attending staff and residents
  3. Apply the principles in providing feedback to residents
