AASLD 2014 Meeting Review
This is an annual update that will be presented by members of the Hepatology Division at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This event will be summarizing the 65th Annual Study of the Liver Diseases Meeting (AASLD) that was held in Boston, Massachusetts on November 7-11, 2014. This conference will include topics such as Portal Hypertention, Hepatocellular Carcinoma & Metabolic, and Viral Hepatitis.

Learning Objectives
1.) Familiarize oneself with the use of direct acting antiviarl agents in the management of chronic hepatitis C.
2.) Manage refractory hepatic encephalopathy in patients with end-stage liver disease.
3.) Effectively manage acute chronic liver failure and determine when evaluation for liver transplantation is indicated.
