19th Annual Liver Disease Update 2018
The field of Hepatology is rapidly evolving. New data is becoming available at unprecedented rates. This results in physicians having to determine which data is most beneficial as they provide care to their patients. Staying up to date with new diagnostics and therapeutics is essential for health care providers that are evaluating and managing patients with liver disease. Our internal data including referral patterns, discussions with referring providers whether at other divisional CME events or individual discussions, and review of external provider evaluations demonstrates that there are significant gaps. These deficiencies provide an excellent opportunity to share new developments with those referring as well as caring for patients with liver disease.
In addition, as is our custom in previous years of this conference, all attendees are asked for input regarding topics that they identify as deficient in terms of knowledge. These topics also help to form the basis for future conference topics.

Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, Primary Care Physicians, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, Fellows and Residents.
