This program is designed for Internal Medicine physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
1. Recognize that physical diagnosis still impacts contemporary patient care in internal medicine 2. Describe how physical examination is currently being taught in clinical settings 3. Identify reasons why junior and senior medical students and residents should have additional formalized education in physical diagnosis 4. Suggest strategies for improving the frequency, quality, and utility of physical examination teaching
