Sixth Annual Controversies in Hematologic Malignancies Symposium

This one-day symposium will raise and address the most challenging questions in current clinical practice. Topics will include CAR-T cell therapies, AML, CLL, frontline management of DLBCL, and hematological complications facing patients with lymphoma, leukemia and myeloma.

Learning Objectives

  1. An update on the current status of CAR-T therapies available and the future direction of the field.
  2. Discuss management of frontline treatment for the various subtypes of DLBCL with this ever evolving field.
  3. Review the treatment options for relapsed, refractory myeloma.
  4. Educate on the meaningfulness of molecular mutations within AML and the role of minimal residual disease in AML assessment.
  5. Discuss the assessment and management of depression in patients with hematological conditions.
  6. Discuss contemporary indications for transplant in CLL.
  7. Discuss hematological complications within patients with lymphoma, leukemia and myeloma. Many patients with hematological malignancies can develop non-malignant complications. Review the management of issues such as blood clots, low platelets, and other possible complications seen in our patient population.
