Wisconsin Breast Cancer Symposium 2014
This Symposium is wrapped around the concept of what it will take to end breast cancer and focus on two broad areas that will help us reach our goal of ending this disease: 1) How to prevent/delay metastasis and 2) What causes breast cancer and how to prevent it.
Join national and local leaders, scientists, innovators and visionaries who will present on topics related to:
- Tumor dormancy as it relates to breast cancer metastasis
- Next generation sequencing for personalized treatment
- Successful patient/scientific collaborations and the role breast cancer survivors and advocates can play in helping us reach our goal of ending breast cancer
- The role of inflammation, cell environment and obesity in breast cancer growth and metastasis
- Importance of clinical trials and transparency
The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 4.0 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals.
