Tilman Hackeng "TFPI and the Coagulation Pathway"

This presentation will cover the molecular basis of anticoagulant activity of TFPI in plasma, and by which factors this activity is influenced.

 

Nigel Mackman "TF in Inflammation and Infection"

 

The presentation will describe the roles of tissue factor, the clotting system and protease-activated receptors in host defense. These include immobilization of microbial pathogens, fibrin-dependent enhancement of inflammation and PAR-1-dependent expression of interferon beta.
