Utility in Hemophilia – Stacy Croteau
This presentation will highlight the evolving clinical application of bleeding assessment tools in hemophilia. The utility and limitations of these tools in sub-groups including mild-moderate disease, severe disease, children and carriers are discussed.
Utility in Anticoagulated patients – Scott Kaatz
This presentation will discuss the diagnostic accuracy and clinical utility of bleed risk assessment models in anticoagulated patients.

At the end of this Webinar, the participants will be able to:
- Appreciate the differences in bleeding risk assessment models in anticoagulated patients with atrial fibrillation, venous thromboembolic disease.
- Be able to calculate bleeding risk for patients and mitigate modifiable risk factors.
- Describe the role of bleeding scores in the diagnosis and management of children and adults with hemophilia.
- Identify the limitations of bleeding assessment tools in current hemophilia care.
