2023 Crohn's and Colitis Conference
Target Audience
This is a program designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, allied health professionals, interns, residents, fellows and community partners specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, General and Colorectal Surgery and Basic scientists.
Learning Objectives
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe novel and emerging therapies in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease and how they are best positioned to optimize disease outcomes.
- Understand the different mechanisms of action for novel and emerging therapies in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease and the potential complications associated with these therapies.
- Identify the patient characteristics that allow for therapy cessation and/or de-escalation in patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
