The 33rd Annual Update in Primary Care

October 8, 2020 to October 9, 2020

**CONFERENCE GOING VIRTUAL!**

Our conference will be streamed live via WebEx on October 8 and 9, 2020. More information regarding the virtual platform and how to connect will be provided to conference participants closer to the conference date.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide attendees with clinically relevant information about the rapidly changing updates and clinical practice guidelines and has been designed to update regional primary care providers on advances in a variety of internal medicine topics with a dual focus on improving their own clinical practice and highlighting the referral expertise of The Medical College of Wisconsin.

We want to share our specialized medical knowledge to increase the quality of practice by community physicians and to make them aware of when they should contact an academic medical center for specialized care of their patients.

Target Audience

Primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and allied health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

  • Provide the latest information on current issues concerning primary care
  • Provide clinically relevant information to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic skills in the primary care setting
  • Increase understanding of disease processes that require subspecialists' expertise and management
  • Review current recommendations that improve the quality and safety of care provided by primary care physicians in the hospital setting
