2017 HPV Summit, Green Bay
The Wisconsin Chapter of the AAP has included HPV Vaccination of adolescents as one of its strategic priorities for 2017. The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality has recently added HPV series completion by age 13 as a quality benchmark indicator. Wisconsin Department of Health Services has received a grant to fund HPV outreach and education activities to vaccination providers. The American Cancer Society, as a nationwide organization, has received a 5-year grant from the CDC to increase HPV vaccinations through partnerships with providers. The Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program has included HPV vaccine promotion as one of the thirteen priorities of the 2015-2020 Cancer Control Plan.
