AASLD Meeting Review 2025
This update will be presented by members of the hepatology team from the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. This review will include diverse topics such as Metabolic dysfunction-associated liver diseases, Alcohol related liver diseases, Portal hypertension, Non-invasive tests for diagnosis of liver diseases and liver biopsies, What is new in MASLD and portal hypertension management, What is new in management of autoimmune liver diseases, and When to refer the patient for liver transplant evaluation. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

Learning Objectives
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Identify patients at risk for progression of metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease and how to initiate different interventions.
- Recognize when to refer a patient for liver transplantation.
- Recognize treatment failure early in patients on treatment for autoimmune hepatitis and address it.
