Forward414 Hope & Heal Conference
Hope & Heal: Uniting for Suicide Prevention and Mental Wellness brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience to explore evidence-informed approaches to suicide prevention and postvention. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of suicide risk factors, protective factors, resilience-building strategies, and the importance of fostering hope, connection, and support among young people, families, and communities.
The program will highlight practical tools and emerging research to help attendees recognize warning signs, promote mental wellness, and strengthen prevention efforts across diverse settings. In addition, participants will examine the profound impact of suicide loss and learn postvention strategies that support healing, recovery, and community resilience. Through expert presentations, personal stories, and collaborative discussion, this workshop aims to empower attendees to respond with compassion, reduce stigma, and create environments where individuals and communities can thrive.
