Multimodal Spine Education Series 2023 - 2 Pain Psychology

Series of educational events for providers and other clinical staff focused on aspects of care for the back and neck patient being treated for spinal issues.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to: 

  • Describe empirically supported treatments for Chronic Pain: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Identify behavioral health treatments available to patients with chronic pain within SpineCare & Pain Management, and how they can be effectively used.
  • Identify appropriate patient identification and the referral process for CBT
