Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  •  
  •  Describe current understanding of processes that go into kidney stone formation
  • Evaluate the proposed role of urine macromolecule net charge on stone crystal aggregation
  • Review studies that presenter & collaborators have performed to manipulate urine macromolecule net charge while inducing calcium oxalate deposition in rats
