MCW Spine Research Day will be a one day CE course reviewing multiple relevant areas to the practitioner managing spine related conditions. The day will be made up of several presentations from a variety of professions. The theme for this year’s event is optimizing the peri-operative period.

Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this learning intervention will be able to:

1. Explain the ideal timing for manual therapy for postsurgical patients.

2. List pros and cons of “pre-hab” for typical degenerative spondylosis patients in preparing for spinal surgery. 

3. List the impacts of optimizing relevant medical comorbidities perioperative period for spine surgery.
