MCW Spine Research Day will be a one day CE course reviewing multiple relevant areas to the practitioner managing spine related conditions. The day will be made up of several presentations from a variety of professions. The theme for this year’s event is optimizing the peri-operative period.

Learning Objectives

Participants who engage in this learning intervention will be able to:

  • Identify predictors of back pain in adolescents as well as overall prevalence.
  • List benefits of pain psychology in adolescents with back pain and incorporate techniques to navigate this recommendation with patients and families.
  • List benefits of deformity correction for adolescents and describe long term complications in adulthood.
