Program Description: 

The purpose of the conference is to provide continuing medical education for the Department of Neurosurgery. Neurosurgery faculty, midlevel providers and residents give presentations.  Visiting professors and faculty from other departments at the Medical College of Wisconsin are invited to present. Topics include Neurosurgery, Neurology, Radiology, Pathology and the Neurosciences.

Objectives:

1. Develop an understanding of temporal bone anatomy by correlating lateral, posterior, and superior-medial surgical approaches.

2. Apply knowledge of temporal bone anatomy to a selection of common neurotologic procedures: endolymphatic shunt, endoscopic stapedectomy, and middle fossa approach for vestibular schwannoma resection.
