17216.01 Setting a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Agenda in HCT: Priorities in Sexual, Physical and Emotional Health - 9/26/17

Minneapolis, MN US
September 26, 2017

Historically, the hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) community has focused on research to improve the potential for survival. Over the past several years more attention has been given to identifying and conducting research in other significant outcomes of HCT, particularly those that matter most to patients and their caregivers.

To address these needs, NMDP/Be The Match sought and received an award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) for a two-year project to engage a broad community of research and non-research stakeholders (including patients and caregivers) to develop a research agenda in patient-centered outcomes of HCT.

Attend this webinar to learn more about these efforts, hear the findings of three working groups focused on sexual, physical, and emotional health, and learn next steps of this initiative.
