Headache Medicine & General Neurology Virtual CME Symposium

Milwaukee, WI US
March 12, 2021 to March 13, 2021

To educate community-based clinicians on best approaches to sift and winnow through patient complaints in order to achieve correct diagnoses for timely delivery of care and accuracy in treating patients with neurologic complaints. This program is designed to meet the needs of primary care providers including family medicine specialists, nurse practitioners, internists, pediatricians and community-based neurologists. This conference is a two-part series with the first day focused on headache and the second, general neurology topics.

The workshop will address approaches of several providers sharing their respective insights in the disorders and their treatments with a focus on a variety of neurologic diseases and treatment situations. The lectures will lead the community practitioners through the approach that specialists in each area would take to assessing the patient, ordering diagnostic testing, determining decision points for referral and presenting evidence-based therapeutic recommendations suitable for the community setting.
